Owner of Creazioni Kitchens John Slater was appointed Newmarket Business Association chairman for a fourth year by members at the association’s AGM on 23 September at Maori Television. Treasurer Carl Sowter of Marley Loft also stood uncontested and was reappointed.
An election was held for the seven general positions on the executive committee. The successful candidates were Angela Daniel (Angela Daniel Jewellery), Ian Goodall (Goodall Management), Michael Holmes (Michael Holmes Premium Eyewear), Kerrie Hughes (Westfield NZ), Jonathan Macdonald (Unichem on Broadway), Mark McDonough (Zarbo Delicatessen & Cafe) and Nicky Shore (Off Wax/Brow Bar).
