Laser Facial; A skin reset with zero downtime

Reading Time: 3 Minutes

Caci have launched a new Laser Facial, combining a chemical peel and all the best benefits of a thermal laser for an overall skin reset with zero downtime - and trust us when we say, it's the boost your skin needs.

The new service provides a deep cleanse of your skin, removing built up alongside an exfoliation to help with congestion, the micro channels that the laser creates, then stimulates cell turnover and encourages skin's natural healing function meaning plump, rejuvenated, healthy, glowing skin.

Laser Facial

This option is great for anyone who is concerned with fine lines, wrinkles, skin texture or dull skin and can make some genuine improvements to your skin, without the downtime - which is a real game changer. After all Not many of us have the ability to time off from work or other commitments to allow our skin to heal from a deep treatment, so this is a great alternative.

If you are already receiving regular facials, this treatment is something you could add in to really add some oomph to your skincare and boost skin condition. But if (like many of us) you haven't been looking after your skin quite as much as you would like, you will need a couple of prep treatments to ensure your skin is treatment ready.

The prep treatments will generally consist of a peel, and/or microdermabrasion to reduce build up and ensure the laser is able to work deep into the skin layers, but the team at Caci will tailor these to your specific skin needs.

The laser facial itself takes about one hour, the team start by cleansing the skin to remove any makeup or skincare and SPF, before applying a chemical resurfacing peel, this loosens the connections between the skin cells so any dead skin can be removed, leaving you with fresh skin.

They will then map out key areas of your face to ensure all sections are targeted by the laser. The thermal laser (a Fractional C02 Laser) is then used focusing on each mapped section of the skin, you might feel a light prickling and some gentle warmth, but absolutely no pain at all. The laser works similarly to needling, but in a much more effective way, by creating micro-channels. These micro injuries initiate a natural healing response from your body, boosting collagen and providing a means for better product penetration, in other words, allowing the key ingredients in your topical skincare to do their job easier.

Immediately after the treatment, you will likely have a rosy glow or pink flush, not dissimilar to a sunburn, this will likely last a few hours. You need to be makeup free for at least 24 hours post treatment, and ensure you keep skin really clean, and hydrated while those micro injuries are healing.

One week after treatment, you should notice your skin is clearer, plumper and firmer, with a glow that continues to improve each day - a real-life reset for tired skin.
