The Newmarket rail station connects to both the Southern and Eastern Rail Lines. If you live out West or as far South as Pukekohe, catching a train to Newmarket is an easy stress free option. People from the Eastern Suburbs will need to go to Britomart first before catching a train on the Southern or Western lines to Newmarket. Trains operate frequently with services on the Southern Line operating every 12 minutes in peak times and every 20 minutes at midday and services on the Western Line operating every 20 minutes in peak times and every 30min in the middle of the day. For more information on journey planning and timetables see the Maxx Journey Planner.

Buses

Bus

Newmarket is well connected to the Bus network. The Inner Link and Outer Link buses run through the heart of Newmarket connecting much of the inner and outer extents of the city. These services operate every 10-15minutes for the majority of the day so no need to examine the timetable. You can sit back, relax and enjoy the free WIFI provided on this service.

A number of services from the eastern and southern suburbs connect directly to Newmarket making bus travel a convenient travel option. Visit the MAXX website for more information on journey planning and timetables see the Maxx Journey Planner.
