Room Service Interiors

I am a professionally qualified Interior Designer with the skills, experience and vision to guide you through the entire design and construction process of your project. I am passionate about my work and find it hard to sit in a room without wanting to change things!

I do not have a 'signature style' as my training has taught me to work with clients and their dreams to find a look that suits them. I enjoy working with colour to create an atmosphere, but I am extremely enthusiastic about texture. It is always overlooked in a room.

My work involves helping a client clarify what they are looking for - I am nosy and ask lots of questions! I then research and source product quickly and efficiently saving time and worry.

I emphasise comfort, superb making, attention to detail and the quality of workmanship that is crucial to getting the best results; my rooms create a sense of luxury. I make my clients rooms comfortable and welcoming as well as practical. Perching on the edge of a silk covered spindly-legged chair is not for me!

With my broad range of in-house design skills and experience, you can consult with me on all aspects of your project - from the first architectural drawings and usage of space, through site supervision and window treatments, to the delivery of the last cushion.

I also write and teach courses that cover the basic principals of interior decorating, and find presenting these challenging and fun.
